About the Venue

Welcome to the Winchester Hotel and Spa in the wonderful historic City of Winchester, a City of many charms, with centuries of history, hushed cloisters, bijou shopping streets and a vibrant cultural scene. The Winchester Hotel and Spa is just a few minutes walk from Winchester City Centre, and is across the road from Winchester Station (approx one hour direct to/from London Waterloo). The hotel offers a perfect base for both business and leisure, with 98 tastefully furnished en-suite bedrooms and suites – a range of accommodation to suit all budgets.

Opening Hours

The hydro spa and thermal suite is open daily from 9.30am to 8pm.

The indoor swimming pool opens from 8am to 8pm.

Adult only swim sessions are from 8am to 9am and 6pm to 7pm daily.

The therapist team is available daily from 10am to 6pm.

Please note our hydro spa, thermal suite and extensive range of therapies are only available to adults over the age of 16.

Review on a break at Tortworth Court

Tortworth Court Hotel is situated about 25 minutes from Bristol.

This really is an amazing location. It’s close enough to Gloucester and Cheltenham for some retail therapy, but far enough away to be peaceful and relaxing.

The gardens at The Tortworth Court Hotel are fantastic. It provides a beautiful backdrop to a perfectly wonderful break away.

On arrival we were checked into our standard but perfectly adequate twin room by friendly and helpful staff. Once in the room we unpcaked a few things, had a cup of tea and headed down to the spa for our scheduled spa treatments.

The hot stone massage at The Tortworth Court was first class and i felt so relaxed that I had to be gently woken up by the therapist!

After a glass of water and a bit of time to wake myself up again but not too much we headed across to the pool which is adjacent to the treatment rooms. We de-stressed some more in a lovely warm Jacuzzi followed by a gentle swim in the pool.

Later, in the evening, we sampled the hotels cuisine and again we were not disappointed. The staff were friendly and the food delicious.
